Volami
A family safety and location intelligence platform built for African realities, combining real-time location sharing, SOS tools, emergency contacts, geofencing, and smart safety features in one ecosystem.
I'm Lammy — a 23-year-old builder from Lagos. By day I work as a mechanic. By night I'm prototyping apps, supporting final-year students with their research, and building products designed for how Africans actually live. Everything I make starts with a real problem.
I’m a graduate of Bells University who never stayed in one lane for too long. I work as a mechanic, help students handle academic research from Chapter 1 to Chapter 5 using tools like SPSS where needed, build apps and websites through intense hands-on experimentation, and spend a lot of time thinking about how broken systems can work better.
I’m not the kind of person who enjoys sitting still. Once I understand something to a certain level, I naturally start looking for the next thing to learn, test, improve, or build. That constant movement is a big part of how I work. It is also why many of my projects sit at the intersection of real life problems, technology, and practical execution.
My path is not clean and polished in the corporate brochure sense. It is messy, practical, and real. I’ve moved between mechanics, research support, product ideas, app building, and chess because I genuinely enjoy learning through action.
That means I usually understand problems from the ground first, then think about how software, systems, or product design can improve them. I’m as comfortable under a car as I am sketching a startup concept or vibecoding a product interface. I play chess seriously — it sharpens the way I think about systems and decisions.
These projects are ranked by scale, ambition, problem depth, and long-term potential. Some are already completed. Some are still in progress. All of them reflect how I think: practical first, useful first, real-world first.

A desktop product that turns software workflows into executable guides, letting someone replay a creator's process live inside their own tools instead of only watching a tutorial.
A trust layer for Nigeria’s invisible skilled workers, designed as a portable identity and reputation system that helps artisans prove competency, carry work history across platforms, and unlock credit access.
A transit routing platform designed to help people navigate public transportation across Nigeria using local route logic, landmark-based guidance, community input, and practical transit knowledge.
An AI-powered SMC trading bot built for Deriv synthetic indices, combining rule-based market structure analysis, machine learning filters, MT5 execution, and a transparent live reasoning dashboard.
A private locally run wallet tracker built to monitor many wallets efficiently across multiple chains without turning the workflow into a public product.
An Android parental control concept for shared-device households, using identity-aware restrictions so younger users are limited without affecting the parent.
A chess social platform that combines game analysis, AI coaching, feed-driven sharing, repertoire building, and chat-based chess interaction.
A Nigerian student operating system that combines gigs, GPA planning, study resources, scholarship discovery, and mental support into one campus platform.
A local automation tool that records and executes repetitive browser-based workflows on a schedule.
A campus-focused delivery, errands, and payment ecosystem built around student convenience and earnings.
An AI-powered voice companion designed to document a person’s life, memories, goals, emotional patterns, and digital legacy.
Nigeria's unified health identity platform built on NIN. Every Nigerian gets a permanent, portable medical record accessible to any doctor at any hospital — eliminating duplicate registration, lost files, and fatal information gaps in emergencies.
Nigeria's civic accountability platform bridging the access-to-justice gap. Helps citizens document rights violations in legally admissible formats, connects them to pro bono lawyers, and transforms individual incidents into systemic accountability pressure.
The enterprise layer of Volami, adapted for hospitals and mobile clinics. Focuses on patient transit tracking, ambulance routing, and real-time emergency dispatch coordination.
My journey has never been linear, which is exactly why my work feels grounded. I’ve moved through academics, mechanics, research support, software experiments, and startup concepts in a way that gave me a practical view of how people actually live and work.
I naturally learn by doing. I like understanding how things work from the inside, whether it is a machine, a workflow, or an app idea.
My university background helped sharpen how I think about systems, execution, structure, and turning loose ideas into something coherent and usable.
Working as a mechanic sharpened my instinct for diagnosing problems, testing assumptions, and respecting reality over hype.
I now spend my time building and shaping products that target real pain points, especially within African contexts.
I’m interested in tools and systems that make life work better for real people. That could mean safety tools for families, transit systems for chaotic cities, trust infrastructure for artisans, or utility apps that reduce wasted effort.
A lot of what I build is inspired by one simple question: what is broken in everyday life, and how can I design something better around it?
I’m especially drawn to ideas that live at the intersection of Africa, practical problem solving, automation, and system design.
I learn fast by building. My skill set comes from vibecoding, experimentation, product thinking, practical work, and figuring things out in the field instead of waiting for perfect conditions like some people waiting for motivation to descend from heaven.
Clean, recruiter-friendly summary of my background, experience, and skills.
I’m interested in practical opportunities, collaborations, product work, and conversations with people who care about solving meaningful problems.
Right now I’m focused on growing as a builder through projects that are ambitious, useful, and grounded in actual problems. I care about shipping work that feels alive, not just polished in theory.
If you’re looking for someone who combines practical street-level problem awareness with strong product instinct, research support capability, technical analysis discipline, and relentless curiosity, that’s the lane I’m building in.
